You could argue he hasn’t lost anything for a long period of time, but he has suffered consequences. And that it isn’t even revenge or justice, it’s just that Quackity and L'manberg saw killing Technoblade as an act of political power. Quackity, who tells Technoblade once they have threatened his best friend and his pet’s lives, that him, the second most powerful member of the L'manberg government, won’t stop until he sees Technoblade dead for good. Then Tubbo turns around and agrees to form the butcher army with Quackity. Tubbo refuses, he wants peace, and exiled Tommy. (From Techno’s point, at least)Īnd then Dream begins to manipulate and pressure L'manberg, and Tommy decides it’s a good time to call “The Blade” and ask him to fight Dream for them. Then Fundy and Puffy killed his cows, ransacked his old base and L'manberg exiled him.īy that point, they were even. Sure, he got his revenge by realising the withers, and he also lost because they rebuilt L'manberg anyway. And L'manberg has threatened Techno and Phil’s lives.īecause Tommy being exiled wasn’t a consequence of him burning a house? It was all a plot by Dream to separate Tommy from Tubbo and his friends, his home, to manipulate him and destroy his morale until Tommy was complient, until he didn’t have it in him to defy Dream.Īfter Pogtopia used him, (Wilbur manipulated Techno and pitted both Tommy and Techno against eachother, Quackity proposes Tubbo to use Techno and he accepts, knowing Technoblade wouldn’t agree with Pogtopia taking over Manberg, and therefore using him for their plans), he left civilization. It’s about how lives are more important than things. Tommy cares about these things, and then turns around and asks Techno what he has lost that has made him attack L'manberg, when Technoblade has also lost things. Because he is, once again, clinging onto things that are harming others. So the whole argument is brought back to the disks, you know, the objects that aren’t sentient and shouldn’t be worth more than people’s lives? That’s why it invalidates Tommy’s argument. “You are, techno, and so are we!” Is where you cut off.Īnd it’s followed IMMEDIATELY by “but the discs, techno, they’re the reason” if tommy was exiled for something as simple as burning a house down - how come technoblade gets to run around free after burning down a country?įirst, you didn’t add the whole dialogue: but that is not the only type of consequence. the butcher army was too much, but that’s obviously he doesn’t need to be publically executed for his actions. Technoblade needs to suffer consequences for what he did. but people will go ahead and say “wilbur was a 50 year old man who convinced 8 year olds to brew drugs!” ? when has that ever been canon? “name one good thing l’manberg did!” name one good thing ANYONE did. and again, i’m not going to say that it was a flawless, perfect shining beacon of freedom and liberty. I’ve seen so many arguments against l’manberg. he is so completely convinced he is in the right that he refuses to acknowledge anything contradicting it. he isn’t really acting in the way that he tells himself he is, proceeds to completely ignore the argument and just blame it all on the government. “nothing was stolen from you here! nothing was taken from you here! you’re selfish! you destroy what other people love for your own self-gain!” but technoblade, when presented with the possibility that. i’m not going to say tommy was a saint here, no way he was. I literally have NO clue how people manage to spin this in techno’s favour. “people are above the government techno!” people love to use that line as a defense of techno’s that he has been BETRAYED, LIED, and DECEIVED. Gonna be honest, you guys quote “i’m a person tommy!” in all the wrong scenarios.
